In this beginner level class, you will learn stretching and breathwork techniques to incorporate whenever you are feeling stressed, anxious or unfocused. This class will feel like a 45 minute self care break in the middle of your day. You will leave stronger and more balanced to face the rest of the day feeling relaxed and energized. Safe Sitter® is designed to prepare students in grades 6-9 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The Instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. Students learn: Safety Skills, Child Care Skills, First Aid & Rescue Skills including child and infant CPR, as well as Life & Business Skills. Safe Sitter® Essentials with CPR is a 6 1/2 hour class. Learn about skills and strategies you can use on the road every day and discover defensive driving techniques to help you deal with aggressive drivers,  We'll also explore local laws and traffic rules for drivers and get tips for proper maintenance of your vehicle so it's safe before you drive.  Insurance discount is possible as well.  Class is to be paid directly by check to AARP when you arrive at the class.  $20 for AARP Members and $25 for Non AARP Members.
